My Dear Sir,

I have found time to peruse [?] your “essay on the trial by jury/”

I find it a work of deep interest suggesting many new thought useful to the general reader, and more particularly to members of the bar. It should be placed in the library of every lawyer and of every reader of general litterature [sic].

I thank you for this contribution to legal science.

                                      Very Truly,

                                       JR E____?
