     I mailed to your address today the decision of Judge McLean, in the Fugitive Slave case tried here yesterday.
     If not asking too much of your time and convenience I would be pleased to have you examine it carefully and briefly give me your views of its vulnerable points. In the argument I endeavored to get him _____ upon the strongest objections that have been brought against the act, and of the decision can be assailed with force and ______, I may publish with it a brief review.
